The Relic Room
By far the most prominent relic in this room, THE Relic, is the Iron Pentacle. It is a large construct of unknown date and origin and scaled to accommodate the human form.
Pentagrams/pentacles have been shown to exist at least 6,000 years ago. They have been found on broken clay fragments, drawn on cave walls and handmade from natural materials. It is a cosmic symbol which can represent the four corners of the earth and the vault of the heavens. It has also been used to represent five elements: earth, air, fire, water... and spirit. In other uses, it symbolizes the human being, the five points representing the head, arms and legs of the body. This is more to our point here. Come forward and experience The Relic.
