Reflection Chamber
At the base and in the center of the Tarot Tower is a confusingly winding hall of mirrors, spiraling inward. One of the mirrors conceals the stairway which leads up to an open section of the tower's roof. This may be accessed only by Lady Arianda and Lady Terin and is reserved for rituals, sacraments, and ceremonies to the moons.
Even the mirrored chamber at the base is seen only by special guests. At the heart of it is a sanctuary, a circular room of mirrors, which is exceedingly dark except when there is a double full moon, then the light is refracted down into the chamber for a mystical glitter of soft silvery light.
Fortunately there is plenty of moonlight remaining on these nights after the high rituals have been performed. The floor of this sanctuary is scattered with large soft velvet pillows and candlelight may be present to supplement the gift of light from the moons.
