Our Gamekeeper ~ Horatio
Just beyond the Glade in a private cottage, lives our Gamekeeper, Horatio.
A fine stallion, in more ways than the obvious, Horatio's duties include stocking the grounds with sufficient game and wildlife. He oversees breeding programs, as well as culling and training. He is the one to see for scheduling a hunt for he has a kennel of fine hounds and works with the Stablemaster to provide the finest horses.
Horatio also minds the fisheries and hatcheries, whether they serve for sport or Cook's needs. He has considerable skill as blacksmith and farrier too. He also oversees races, and sometimes enters them himself. However, that crop within his hands is not for use on his own rump, he has personal pleasures to see to among his estate duties.
